To look good on the outside, you need to rationalize with yourself on the inside. A diet should be something you have to constantly start and stop; it should be a way of life. Making consistent choices is key.
In terms of exercise, increase your activity levels in small doses. Even if your exercise routine only consist of a light 20 minute walk everyday, that will make a huge difference in the way you feel, plus gets you started in the right direction.
